The workweek has ended and Jade acknowledges the agreement. Thank you, Brooke. Now, in Southern Palm Beach County, the community of Boca Raton is gathering to honor the veterans of America.
Steve King is reporting live from the Red, White, and Boca’s Veterans Day celebration. Steve, what are the veterans telling you? Well, Jay, the veterans here express their gratitude towards the Boca Raton community for coming out and celebrating and honoring them. Currently, the Samantha Russell Band is performing on stage, and we are taking a look at their performance. There have been several acts tonight at the event.
Earlier, there was excitement with a different band, the American Bombshells, who sang patriotic songs. In addition to the performances, there are food trucks, local organizations providing resources for veterans, a car and motorcycle show, and much more. City leaders mention that this is the first time the Veterans Day ceremony and the evening concert have been combined into one event, and they believe it is going well. Earlier, we had the opportunity to speak with a veteran and the Mayor of Boca Raton about the Red, White, and Boca event.
The veteran expressed his view that this event is a wonderful way to show the community’s care for the veterans who have served the nation. He appreciates the effort to acknowledge their service and sacrifice, emphasizing that although it may be a small token, it is something worth doing to express appreciation and thanks.
This event is just one part of that effort. Currently, people are enjoying themselves and having a great time..
