Male student shoots 2 faculty members at Denver’s East High School Federal Reserve Chair Powell: Rate Cuts Not Currently Planned Despite Tightening Financial Conditions

Basilica Block Party, a popular summer music festival in Minnesota, has been canceled again for 2023.

The organizers confirmed that the event is on a planned hiatus and will be reconsidered in the future.

This is the second year in a row that the festival has been postponed.

The Walker and the Current festivals have also ended, and Twin City Summer Jam won’t be returning due to land being sold for an amphitheater.

The reason for the Basilica Block Party’s hiatus is unclear, but there is more competition in the music scene, with two new amphitheaters being built and outdoor concerts taking place.

Inflation has also made it difficult to financially sustain such festivals.

The purpose of the Basilica Block Party was to raise money for the preservation of the historic church.
