A man accused of attempting to murder a police officer is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
Isaiah Williams is facing trial after being charged with aggravated attempted murder of an officer, menacing an officer, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
The incident took place in May last year when police responded to reports of a fight on Avenue D in Rochester.
Williams was allegedly seen holding a handgun and fired a shot at the officers before fleeing the scene.

Williams was later apprehended and charged with the aforementioned offenses.
