In a breaking news story, a man has been arrested after a shooting on the Colby College campus in Maine.
Students were asked to shelter in place after reports of shots fired were made around 1:30 am.
The Waterville Police Department responded to the senior apartments on campus and found that Andrew Gifford, who is not a Colby student, had allegedly fired two rounds from a handgun during an altercation at a party.
Fortunately, both rounds hit the walls without causing any injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
