Authorities are currently searching for an armed arsonist who was caught on surveillance video starting and spreading a fire inside an auto parts business in Santa Ana, Orange County.

The incident happened in the early morning hours of Monday, and investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying and tracking down the suspect.

The video shows a man with a gun in one hand and a container of accelerant in the other, pouring the accelerant all over the office.

The Orange County Fire Authority was able to extinguish the fire in about 11 minutes, but the damage had already been done.

The building is now red-tagged, and investigators are hoping that by releasing the video, someone will recognize the suspect and help make an arrest.

The Orange County Fire Authority arson investigators and Santa Ana police detectives are working together on this case, and they advise anyone who comes into contact with this individual to call 911 immediately.
