Angela Pollina, the woman charged in the death of her fiancé’s eight-year-old son, Thomas Valva, was found guilty on all charges in her murder trial after a few hours of jury deliberation on Friday.

Pollina was charged with second-degree murder after Valva died of hypothermia in his father’s frigid garage.

The jury also found Pollina guilty on four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Pollina took the stand in her own defense, but ultimately the strategy backfired, and the jury found her guilty on all counts.

Pollina’s sentencing is set for April 11th.

Michael Valva, Thomas’s father, was also convicted in the murder and received the maximum sentence of 25 years to life.

The case sickened anyone with a soul, particularly after they learned Child Protective Services knew about the situation and did nothing.

The district attorney in Suffolk County vowed to take steps to ensure that something like this never happens again.
