Albuquerque Braces for Rain and Snow, Drivers Urged to Use Caution
Residents in Albuquerque are being advised to keep their umbrellas handy as showers develop and fill in over the metro area.
The Rio Rancho area is currently at 39 degrees while Albuquerque’s Sunport is at 42 degrees.
Although it should be warm enough for liquid rain in the morning, Santa Fe is expected to receive both rain and snow.
The rain chance is expected to decrease to 20% by noon and later this afternoon.
Meanwhile, drivers are urged to exercise caution as roads across the state are wet and could be slick.
The N.M.
Roads map shows difficult driving conditions around Penasco and west of Los Alamos, as well as wet roads in Santa Fe, Taos, Edgewood, and Farmington.
