The Mother’s Day weekend forecast from AccuWeather indicates a mix of warm and rainy weather.

On Friday, Brittany predicts temperatures in the upper 80s, providing a warmer atmosphere as we approach the weekend.

Currently, it is 66 degrees with partly cloudy skies and a gentle breeze of 12 miles per hour in Central Park.

This morning is tranquil, allowing for reflection as the average height stands at 71, with the record being 93.

Sunset is expected at eight minutes past three.

Some areas are experiencing cooler temperatures, such as Suffolk at 58 degrees and 60 degrees, and higher elevations around 49 degrees.

Monticello and Belmar remain at a comfortable 60 degrees.

Satellite radar shows mostly clear skies, but there will be an increase in clouds throughout the afternoon.

Fortunately, the weather will remain dry due to high pressure and an abundance of sunshine, resulting in temperatures ranging from the low to mid-80s.

While there will be a mixture of sunshine and clouds, temperatures will still reach the 70s in the city until around 11:00 p.m.

However, as we wake up tomorrow morning, there will be noticeable cloud cover due to a disturbance to the south, which will bring rain.

The main change in the forecast is that the timing has been pushed back.

Most of the rain is now expected to fall late Saturday morning through Saturday afternoon.

By noon, isolated showers will be present, and in the afternoon, a few showers may be close to the city.

However, the majority of the rain will be concentrated south of the boroughs.

Tomorrow night, skies will be mostly clear.

Looking ahead to Sunday, we can expect abundant sunshine, but an area of low pressure to the south will bring heavy rain near Virginia.

As we head into Sunday, the weather will dry out, and another area of high pressure will bring cooler air from the north.

It is important to note that Sunday and Monday may start off wet.

Today’s temperature will reach 87 degrees, giving a taste of summer, along with moderate air quality.

The UV index is at 8, indicating high levels of UV radiation, and pollen levels are also high.

Tonight, the temperature will drop to 64 degrees, and tomorrow, showers are expected with a temperature of 79 degrees.

However, it is not anticipated to be a washout.
