A 78-year-old woman was killed and several family members, including two young children, were injured in a car crash on the North Side of Chicago.
The SUV carrying the family was hit by an 18-year-old driver in a Saturn sedan at the intersection of Peterson and Kimball, a known area for accidents according to residents.
The driver of the SUV and six others, including the two young children, were taken to hospitals in conditions ranging from fair to critical.
The accident remains under investigation, but neighbors say that too many people speed through this intersection, and they’re worried for everyone’s safety.
