Second suspect arrested in Microsoft executive’s murder case
Police in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, have arrested a second suspect in connection with the murder of a Microsoft executive, Jared Bridegan.
Mario Fernandez Saldana was arrested on Thursday and accused of hiring Henry Tennan to murder his ex-wife’s ex-husband, Bridegan, in February 2022.
Tennan will plead guilty and cooperate with investigators in January.
Bridegan’s widow, Kristen, had previously expressed suspicions about her husband’s ex-wife and her connection to the killer.
Legal analysts believe that Tennan will be the star witness in the case as he will soon admit to pulling the trigger on Bridegan’s murder.
However, the defense may challenge his credibility, given that he is a murderer who engaged in this plot.
There is also evidence linking Saldana and Tennan, including recorded phone conversations, payments, and text messages.
The prosecution is hoping that Saldana’s guilty plea will help their case.
However, the defense may argue that Tennan acted alone and was not influenced by Saldana.
The trial is expected to be a high-profile case and one to watch closely.
