A 40-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run incident in the SODO neighborhood of Seattle.
The police are currently searching for the driver who fled the scene.
The incident occurred at the intersection of 4th Avenue South and South Lander Street at around 10:40 pm.
The police were alerted by the sound of the collision and found the woman lying unresponsive on the road.
Despite their efforts, the Seattle Fire Department declared the victim dead upon arrival.
The police are now seeking help from the public to locate a white 2015-2023 Dodge Charger with significant front-end damage, which was last seen speeding away from the intersection.
The police have not yet released any information about the victim or the suspect.
