Reynolds believes Trump cannot win a general election. According to the latest De Mo register poll, Trump has a significant lead in Iowa, with DeSantis and former Ambassador Nikki Haley tied for second place.
DeSantis acknowledges that it is still early in the race and that there is fluidity in the rankings. However, DeSantis’ campaign is calling for Haley to drop out of the race, branding her and other candidates as spoilers who will only increase Trump’s chances of winning the nomination.
