A 15-year-old boy has died after being shot multiple times in the Summerdale section of Philadelphia on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred in the 6100 block of Algon Avenue.
The victim was reportedly chased down the block by at least three suspects before falling and being shot by the suspects.
Police have recovered three different ballistics on the scene, leading them to believe that there were three different shooters involved.
It is unclear at this point if the shooting is related to fights and disturbances that occurred earlier in the day at Samuel Fell’s High School, which is located nearby.
The victim was not a student at the school.
Homicide detectives are reviewing surveillance video and asking for more footage in order to piece together what happened.
The investigation is ongoing.
