The trial regarding Fox News’ role in spreading Trump’s false claims of electoral fraud has been delayed.

The Delaware judge overseeing the case announced that it will now begin on Tuesday, April 18th.

The case will analyze the role of the news network in promoting Trump’s unfounded accusations of voter fraud during the 2020 presidential elections.

Dominion, the manufacturer of voting machines, has filed the defamation lawsuit against Fox News, alleging that executives and network stars knew the claims were false.

The lawsuit seeks $1.6 billion in damages.
